There is so much driftwood on the beach....People has used it to create little places to get away from the wind and cold. Everywhere there were people tucked amoung the piles of wood.

The Pacific Rim National Park
This park follows the coastline between Ucluelet and Tofino. There are several places to hike and play on the beach. I think it is way too cold to get in the water but there were lots of folks doing it......some particular areas like Long Beach are popular for surfing.
