Hiking/Camping in Squaw Flats

Squaw Flats is an exceptional campground in the heart of Canyonlands....you can barely see the Van in our camp in the middle of the photo under the trees. There were even trees to hang the hammock...the first time for that!We hiked with a couple of river guides who just got done with a 10 day trip on the Colorado!Sometimes you just gotta move things around!!

We were on top of the Mesa for a great sunset.

....which made for nice colors in the other direction.....I felt like I was in a Western.
