I got distracted in Humboldt and ended up on the Lost Coast...it's a part of Northern California that is only accessible by remote roads....no highways.....
The beaches are black rocks and the "sand" is tiny little black rocks.....lots of colorful seaweeds, sponges and corals that I have never seen before.
