This is a Eucaliptus Tree.......there is a grove of them that the early settlers planted but the soil proved not sufficient enough and the wood was weak....
Lighthouse in Shelter Cove that used to be on Cape Mendecino, the most western point of the contiguous United States...I could see it in the distance, but I forgot to photograph it.
