Finally we have arrived to the house of our host, Octavio, "Tavo" for short. We met him when in Palenque last year and he invited us to his village to film the music, the Popoluca Indians and medicinal plants of the area.
This is to be our home for the next few days. It is lovely! He is building a palapa on the roof with walls made of bottles!
It is a great place to watch the sunset or lay in a hammock.Right next to his house he has a shop
where Marcos makes the instruments which are called jaranas....they are like little guitars...but with 8 strings. The tiny ones are called chiquistes, the next size, mosquitoes, then primera, segunda and tercera. Marcos makes the jaranas out of one piece of wood using very simple tools. 
He also teaches, plays and sings. We have landed in a center of incredible artists!
