My oldest daughter Annie is moving from Colorado to New Mexico so I thought it my motherly duty to go help. Colorado Springs is nestled next to the southern part of the Rocky Mountains with a great view of Pikes Peak. I was only here a couple days before we left in a rented UHaul truck, headed south, hopefully in my mind for warmer weather.
