I am in Leavenworth, Kansas...no not the prison!....I am here helping a friend move to Texas.......this is the oldest town in Kansas and really quite lovely....its almost surreal as it is so perfectly groomed and clean....situated on the Missouri River, the buildings and houses are just amazing...very large and stately looking.
I did drive by the big Federal Prison that this city is famous for....I was surprised it looked so much like the United States Capitol on the front facade. There are like 5 prisons in this town not counting jails and the big Army Fort.
