This red starfish was in about 6 inches of water right in front of our room.
Iguanas were abundant and this is one of the smaller ones.
Front and back of the same butterfly that we found dead on the path.
This bird on the pole is not in any of our field identification guides??

From the picture you took, the bird looks alot like a Masked Tityra or a Blcked-Crowned Tityra. Look it up in the Peterson's Mexican field Guide and let me know what you think. Pretty bird! Hope you find time to hammock shop!!!
